A little about me and what I do..

I started my hairdressing straight after I left school at the age of 16. Unknowingly I found my confidence in styling hair.

For the past 15 years I have focused on hair styling and created a variety of bridal and occasion hair.

I have two sons and after my second son was born I took the plunge and started my own business in mobile bridal hair and I’ve never looked back!

I won the ‘Bridal Hair specialist of the year’ award in 2023 at the North East Hair & Beauty awards. Then more recently I won the award again for 2024. This has been a huge achievement for me!

I can’t wait to see what the future holds for AFH.

What I hope people see from my work is a lot of variety, so there’s something for everyone.

At the end of the day everyone’s hair is different, so being versatile with my styling & techniques means I can create something that compliments you personally. Along with your inspiration, your dress, your style and so much more.

It’s ’s such an honour to be considered as part of someone’s wedding day! I don’t take this lightly, I’m a perfectionist and want your hair to be perfect for your special day.
